Terms of Use
Last updated 27 October 2026
Lyricly charts songs you have the right to use. Be fair with it, keep your account safe, and remember that automatic transcriptions can be wrong.
Using Lyricly
These terms apply to the Lyricly app and lyricly.ai. By using Lyricly you agree to them. You need to be at least 13, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details secure; you're responsible for what happens on your account. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account.
Your songs
- Only import audio you own or have permission to use: your own recordings, files you've licensed, or material you otherwise have the right to process. Don't use Lyricly to infringe anyone's copyright.
- You keep all rights to what you import. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide Lyricly to you: to transcribe it, chart it, and keep your library available.
- Charts, lyrics and MIDI made from copyrighted songs are for your personal practice and performance. Publishing or selling them may need permission from the rights holders.
Fair use of the service
Don't misuse Lyricly: no attempts to break or overload it, get around limits (such as daily processing limits), access other people's data, or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
Accuracy
Lyrics, chords, keys, tempos and MIDI are produced automatically and can be wrong. Check them before relying on them; you can edit any chart in the app.
Beta versions
Test versions (for example through TestFlight) may change, break or lose data without notice. Thanks for helping us improve Lyricly.
Paid features
If we offer subscriptions or purchases, they're sold through the App Store under Apple's terms, and the price and details are shown before you buy. You manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
Third-party content
Lyricly uses services and content from others (for example sign-in providers and album artwork). Their own terms apply to them.
Liability
Lyricly is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by inaccurate transcriptions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Ending
You can stop using Lyricly and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we stop offering the service, in which case we'll give reasonable notice where we can.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and tell you in the app about significant changes. Continuing to use Lyricly means you accept the new terms.
